Season in full swing!

The season for all three Warriors teams is officially in full swing, with all teams notching up some wins. In the North West Korfball League (NWKL) both Warriors 2 and Warriors 3 have made a great start with Warriors 2 currently holding top place on the ladder and both teams are currently unbeaten (however are facing a stand off with each other in 1 week's time!). On Sunday most people were delighted to wake up to a view of their garden basking in glorious sunshine. Twelve members of Manchester Warriors were not so pleased to see the sun as the realisation hit; they would have to take on the gruelling Bupa Great Manchester run in temperatures of up to 25C. This weekend saw the very special wedding of Mikki and Paul. As the lovely couple  met playing korfball, there was a bit of a twist to the wedding...! The happy couple  Who needs a bouquet... Mikki threw a korfball!

Summer training 2013

Tuesday 29th May will mark our last training session before a month break (over June). We will return in July for some fun summer training! Wythenshawe Games 2013 – korfball demonstrations and free taster sessions

Manchester Warriors Korfball Club are getting involved in Wythenshawe games in a big way this year. A legacy of London 2012, the Games is a week-long, fun, festival of sport and culture for all ages – children and adults.
